Fisching with Andreas Mittermayr
A crystal-clear mountain brook gushing down the valley, the fragrant smell of alpine flora, and mountain peaks towering into the horizon. We try our angling luck with good hints from the fish farmer himself. His fish are allowed to grow very slowly in the cold mountain water, which makes for the superior quality of their flesh. We prepare our catch of trout and char on the spot. Over dinner at the fish pond, Andi Mittermayr will share plenty of interesting information about freshwater fish, from eel to trout, and teach us how to smoke the fish and process them into jellies and other delicacies.
