Hike along the Lechweg trail

The Lechweg trail offers a unique nature experience, people who have been formed by life in the mountains, and legend-steeped stories. On some 125 km the trail follows the river Lech, from its source near Lake Formarinsee in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg to the Lechfall in Füssen in the German Allgäu. The border-crossing Lechweg trail was put under close scrutiny by the European Hiking Association who then certified this long-distance hiking trail as the first Leading Quality Trail. The Lechweg trail is now a model for long-distance hiking trails all over Europe. You can experience the first leg hands-on!
